Library
There is a well-stocked and modern library with 5,200 books besides
fair number of reference books, Journals and Magazines. It has spacious
reading room with sufficient number of magazines and daily newspapers
as per the norm and standards of the NCTE. The library of the institute
is exquisite having high quality wooden furniture for readers.
Seminar hall
There is a big seminar hall in the institute with the sitting capacity
for 150 persons. This institute also possess over head projector, slide
projectors ,film projectors, colour TVs,VCRs which are generally used
in seminars, conference and workshops from timoe to time by out side
experts as well as by its own students. The experts also invited from
other reputed universities/Institution to deliver specialized extension
lectures. The students are given assignments by their respective
teachers in order to make them work regularly as to monitor their
progress.
Class rooms
The class room are airy and well ventilated for B.Ed programme and are having fully equipped with the modern furniture.
Multipurpose lab and other rooms
There is a well equipped lab with various modern amenities for students
e.g., integrated Science Lab, Audio Visual Room, Principal Room, Office
Room, Visitng Room ,Staff Room, Work Experience Room, Girl’s
Common Room , separate Lavatories for male and female.
Psychology Lab
There is well-equipped lab of psychology with various standardized
tests for the councelling of students. The councelling corner
scientifically handles the problems of the students.
Computer Centre
There is a well-equipped, Air-conditioned computer lab backed up by UPS
with the latest software and hardware available in the field. Each and
every student can work independently on the system.
Sports and Playground
There is a 3 acre of land very near to this institute (of Horticulture
Department of MCD) for playground permission for using this plot for
games purposes had already has been accorded by competent authority.
The sport materials of indoor & outdoor games are kept in the
sports store room. The students of the institute are at full liberty to
use the sports material for games.
